Birthday's are definitely a fun celebration of the life that you have been around. It is a time to reflect on this beautiful life you have been given. It is a great day!!!
To me, my perspective has been completely changed. Gotcha Day's are A BIG DEAL. Not comparing birthday's to Gotcha Day's but I am trying to show .....they are a BIG DEAL just on different levels. Did I say BIG DEAL?
Please love on those around you that have a Gotcha Day every year. Wanna know why? Here is a long list from my heart.
*This is such a huge day as it was a day that the Lord changed our hearts. He showed HIMSELF mightily by revolutionizing our hearts to love a child that was not genetically linked.
*This is the day that the Lord told us to surrender all that we had and just say "yes."
*This is the day that the Lord provided every need to link your son or daughter to your family.
*This is the day that your child crossed over. They crossed over to now be able to say, "I have a family." Here they are....right there. Right here.
*This is the day that so many tears have been cried, that so many journeys are just beginning...
*This is the day that represents perseverance coming to an all time high.
*This is the day to PRAISE OUR FATHER and say thank you Lord.
*This is the day that we see another perspective to see God as our Abba, Father.
*This is the day were the Gospel means way more to you than it did before.
*This is the day we rejoice that our Family has been blessed by another beautiful child.
*This is the day we are eternally gratefully to those who supported us when Andy and I were not prepared financially to adopt. You supported us because we were told to GO!
*This is the day when we celebrate milestones as a family. As a growing, changing family....
*This is the day we are just plain grateful!
