Communication

We have bee assured today that we will not be receiving our exit letter. Andy continues to have one on one meetings with our social worker to insure that steps are being made for us to leave. We just cannot say when and they will not give us an idea. We will be content with our circumstances.

On the upside it is positive that Andy and I have access to the locals. Eli requests something all morning and we finally figure out it is because he wants to take a bath. This time that we have here we will continue to praise our Lord and Savior and stay as positive as we can. I am going to be grateful for the communication that we have with the locals here because we can say the word or phrase and they will show us the action if they do not know English.

Eli has started whimpering for no reason at all. He won't answer even the locals. We continue to tell him he is safe and we love him. He saw me folding clothes in one of our bags and he got very upset. He thought we were leaving him. I held and rocked him. Our social worker came soon after and told Eli that he was with us forever. He told Eli that Ma Ma and Pa pa will not leave him. Eli shakes his head that he understands and holds me tightly. Andy gets the Lingala phrases from D so we can comfort Eli that we are not going to leave him. Oh sweet boy has no idea.

The bell is ringing for lunch. More to come!
