Speechless

I have never been more speechless this year than I have thru an adoption process. One event more specifically was Christmas with Eli. The few words that come to mind... Perspective, big picture, JESUS. Eli has not cared about Santa because we talked about why Santa gives gifts. santa gives gifts because he is celebrating the birth of Jesus. I will not make Santa into something he is not but Saint Nicolaus was a real person and for that we will always be grateful for his celebration of giving to children. In our family Santa will only play a very small part of the season. Jesus is this very reason. Video soon to come of Eli and Gray getting their bikes on Christmas morning.
