On Thursday, December 15th we received our finalized home study. Hallelujah!!!! Our I-600a has been sent off to Homeland Security and we await our fingerprinting appointment within the next 4 weeks. The rest of this month will be catching up on a few details to turn in with our dossier and then this step is gone. Wow! This has taken so long but wow has the Lord provided. We wrote another large check for another process 2 weeks ago and the Lord has completely provided every penny. We almost had the entire amount with us lacking around $35o. Between when we wrote the check and until the 17th we received all that we needed to break even. Awesomeness!!!!
The process is expensive but never doubt the provision of our Lord when it comes to widows and orphans. The Lord is showing us time and time again that our child...is HIS child and He will bring our little one to us. Not the other way around. The process is not ours. We are working hard ....yes we are but the Lord wants to make sure that we know that He has a special place in His heart for orphans and widows.
Pray for our little one and that hopefully soon we will see his precious face on a picture or video. As soon as our dossier is done we could potentially wait days, weeks or months to know who he is. Be in prayer with us that the Lord is bringing this miracle right before us in His timing. The miracle of adoption is powerful and flooring all at the same time. To God be the glory in all that we do!
