Super Skip
Thank you Skip Pennington (above in the Auburn hat & picture is of his travel in Kenya) for helping us download our video of E man. This was quite the process. Our vimeo link from our adoption agency was going to expire today and we were panicked because we could not save our video of E man to our computers(PC nor IPad would let us save). So Skip, a super nice coworker of mine, helped us out. He was able to download the video on his Mac and then sent us the link to download our PC. To Skip this may not have meant much time....but to us ...it meant the world since this is the only view we have had of our son.
Once our adoption process is finalized and we are on our way home with Eli we will post the video. Until then we want to protect E man as much as possible and even the people that are taking great care of him. I promise I want to show him off but we just do not feel comfortable at this time with posting this type of information.
Keep up the prayers everyone! We can feel them at all times even when we are struggling with the wait process.
Eli is the Lord's and we are trusting and praying for the day when Eli will be home. Eli has a plan and Andy and I are continually asking the Lord to guide us in the this process.
Thank you for your love and traveling on this journey with us! To God be the Glory in all that we do!
Prayer requests for today (I am not afraid to pray for specifics!):
1. My grandmother, Nancy, as she has lost her husband and love, Dave Ludwig
2. For strength for my grandmother as she goes thru this grieving process and also that the Lord can give her physical strength to make it thru this next week
3. Strength to my Mom, Linda, and that my father will have peaceful rest at night
4. Continued protection over Eli and Brother D. Brother D is protecting Eli and many other precious children and providing guidance to our lawyer, JP
5. Processing of E man's Court #2
6. For JP-he is our representation while in DRC. He is present at all of E man's legal processes and provides documentation (Pray he can continue to spell our names right) The misspelling of our names can delay the process.
7. For the US officials at the embassy in Kinshasa....that they will process E man's VISA quickly and that there will be no hiccups
8. For Andy and I as we prepare to be parents of this awesome and amazing little boy.
9. For Eli as he prepares to leave his homeland, his brethren and sights and sounds of his homeland, for his heart-that the Lord would do a mighty work in his precious life.
10. Most importantly....I pray now as I do for Gray for the day when they will each accept the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior. What a glorious day that will be!
