2 teeth oh my & Boston

Gray had 2 teeth break thru at the same time on June 22. My brave girl did not have too much crying...except for a couple of odd afternoons and one night while we were in Boston. From 11pm -12midnight in Boston to be precise. Then she went right back to sleep. She was quite the trooper as these new pearly whites made their way into this world. :) She has been drooling uncontrollably since 4 months. So baby girl went thru 3 months of teething....and from time to time would clearly be in pain but would really just require some holding and something to chew on. She is a fantastic little girl. Way to go Gray!

Her personality continues to dazzle us. She is particular about how she eats. Bottle must be first then her food. If you try and slide in some food she screams. So put the bottle in first then give the foods a go. Foods she is eating right now...green peas, green beans, carrots, squash, sweet potatoes, applesauce, prunes, pears. She is still loving her cereal but her preference is that you do a half and half combination. Half cereal and half of whatever food she is eating...seriously you can tell a difference and yes, she will let you know. From the looks of things she is favoring her mamma in this department. Picky about her foods and favoring her daddy about how she eats it. :)(Andy eats his meal in sections)

Also, June 12-14 Gray and I traveled to Boston to meet Kerry and Emma Claire. Wow! What an experience for me traveling with a baby to Boston and a plane change in Chicago. Wow was I tired when I got there and zonked by the time we headed back with another plane change in Baltimore. However, Kerry and I had an absolute wonderful time with Emma Claire and Gray. The weather was absolutely perfect (between 60s and 70s) and we walked all over Boston. We knocked out the Freedom Trail and got some fun shopping in as well. More importantly it was nice to just hang out and get some good family time in. We ate it up at Ye Olde Union Oyster House and ate at a great burger joint around Harvard. Fun times, good food, and walked off several pounds. It was nice to be back and see this wonderful city again. I really want to go back to see a Red Sox game with Andy soon!

We are looking forward the 4th of July in Athens and then to the beach mid-July. Fun times...seriously! Couldn't be happier! Then football season and then on to Disney in December. I mean come on!!!! Life is great!
